Switched On Building Solutions played a key role in the construction of the Burnham Defence Medical Centre, delivering exterior cladding as part of Hawkins’ subcontractor team.
The project called for the installation of Hardies Stria, a wide panel fibre cement cladding new to both the build and our crew, challenging our team to quickly master a fresh system while upholding the precision and durability demanded by a critical Defence facility.
Hardies Stria is a modern, durable cladding solution known for its clean horizontal lines, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional performance in harsh environments. Its versatility allows it to be painted in a wide range of colours, making it a practical and visually appealing choice for high use facilities like medical centres.
Our team of carpenters quickly adapted to its unique detailing requirements whilst working to a short time frame with a small crew. They delivered a seamless installation with zero defects through careful planning and precise measurements.
