Switched On Building Solutions partnered with Te Āhuru Mōwai to deliver 10 new homes for whānau in Tītahi Bay, Porirua. The development provides high-quality, community-focused housing designed to support wellbeing, connection, and long-term resilience for the families who will live there.
The project began with a site blessing and following this important kaupapa, construction moved through carefully planned stages, with Switched On working alongside a number of Ngāti Toa subcontractors whose skills and contribution were integral to bringing the development to life.
Switched On's responsibility covered the full vertical build: taking the project from prepared ground to fully realised, move-in-ready homes. Across the development, we delivered 10 new homes in a mix of two, three, and five-bedroom layouts, built as duplexes and terraced housing to suit a range of whānau needs.
From the slab up, our teams managed every stage of the build: structure, services, and final finishes throughout each home, along with the private outdoor spaces including hardscaping and planting so each property felt like home from day one. Delivering this scope required close coordination across trades, tight programme management, and consistent attention to quality and detail at every stage.
