The Evans Bay retrofit project is a great example of our ability to deliver complex residential upgrades at scale.
In partnership with Kāinga Ora, our Wellington team transformed 20 homes across multiple residential blocks, breathing new life into ageing properties and creating warm, healthy homes for future residents. Delivered as part of Kāinga Ora's nationwide retrofit programme, the project involved a complete overhaul of each home, extending their lifespan and bringing them up to modern living standards.
From asbestos removal and strip-out through to reroofing, insulation, new kitchens, electrical and plumbing upgrades, fire protection works, landscaping and fencing, we managed every stage of the project from start to finish.
Our team rose to the challenge of working to tight timeframes while design details evolved throughout construction. Drawing on our extensive retrofit experience, we worked to quickly resolve issues, keep work moving, and make sure the programme stayed on track.
The result was a high-quality refurbishment delivered on an accelerated programme, providing better homes for local whānau and showcasing the strength of our end-to-end delivery model.
