Master Builders wanted a fresh, functional, and modern upgrade for their Pōneke Wellington office. Their vision was clear: white walls throughout, clean lines, and plenty of light. The aim was to open up the space, create more usable areas, and deliver a professional, blank canvas that could evolve with their needs.
This involved a complete interior fit-out: removing internal walls, adding partitioning, laying new flooring, repainting the entire space, and completing extensive electrical work to ensure lighting was aligned with key work areas and consistent. All of this had to be completed in just one month!
Switched On Building Solutions worked closely with Kirsty Foreman from the Master Builders team to bring the vision to life. With no existing drawings to guide the project, our team created a detailed scope of work from scratch and developed a tight programme to deliver everything within the given timeframe.
We managed the full building scope in-house, collaborating with subcontractors for the specialist works.
Key deliverables included:

• Significant electrical works
• Stakeholder coordination and site management.
With no budget flexibility, we proposed cost-saving alternatives where needed, without compromising the overall look and feel. Our team remained agile throughout the project, ensuring the design stayed true to the client’s vision, while keeping the timeline and budget in check.
The major challenge was the one-month turnaround, but this was also one of the project’s biggest highlights. Thanks to detailed planning, clear communication, and a dedicated team, the entire fit-out was delivered smoothly and on time.
