So what can you expect if you choose to work with us? Here’s a rundown of our process:
After we receive your enquiry, we’ll get on the phone and have a quick chat about your requirements. Then we’ll arrange a time that suits you to come and get a bit more detail.
It’s time for a more in depth discussion about what you want your project to achieve and what your budget is. We’ll also bring things like catalogues and swatches to get an idea of what you’re after style-wise. Measurements will be taken and by the end of the site visit we should have a detailed scope of works.
At this point we get in our experienced quantity surveyor to price your job. When you get your quote it will be quite detailed and will include fittings, materials and labour. For smaller projects you’ll receive this via email, but when you’re making a bigger investment (projects over 25K) we’ll sit down with you to talk it through in detail. We like to be thorough and precise when quoting so please allow around two weeks for a quote turnaround. Anything over 15K is put in a Master Builders Contract.
Concept planning and consent
Once the quote has been signed off you’ll need to put down a deposit; this pays for your concept drawings. We contact a designer or architect to draw up your plans and will collaborate with them to submit any applications for consent with Council.
This is the most hands off part for you as we have a team of expert project managers that take care of every detail. Although we may need to call on you to make certain decisions during the process, you don’t have to do anything during this stage, but you’re more than welcome to remain involved.
Your project manager will walk you through the finished project to get your sign off and will also sort out your code of compliance.
We’ll follow up with you within 90 days to ensure you’re still satisfied with the work we’ve done.
